Today, Tiwa Savage, the renowned Nigerian singer professionally known as Tiwatope Omolara Savage, lodged a formal compl@int with the Nigeria Police Force in Lagos State @gainst fellow music artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido. The petition addresses an alleged threat to her life and purported violations of her fundamental human rights.

In her submission dated January 9, 2024, Tiwa Savage detailed instances where Davido allegedly threatened her, particularly after she posted a picture of Sophia Momodu, one of his ‘baby mamas’, on her Instagram status.

The petition urges the Nigerian Police Force, under the office of the Commissioner of Police in Lagos, to hold Davido accountable for his alleged actions. The recent social media buzz emerged when both artists unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking speculations about their rift possibly stemming from Tiwa Savage’s growing friendship with Sophia Momodu, the mother of Davido’s first child, Imade.
