Chef Naira Victor Breaks New Guinness World Cook-A-Thon Record
In an impressive display of culinary prowess, 30-year-old Benue Chef Victor Tartenger, the proprietor of Naira Victor Kitchen, has shattered the existing Guinness World Record for a Cook-a-Thon. Embarking on a grueling 135-hour cooking marathon on Tuesday, February 27, Chef Victor has surpassed the record previously held by Alan Fisher, the current Guinness World Record holder.

Chef Victor’s remarkable feat is taking place in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State, where he has been tirelessly cooking non-stop since the commencement of the event. Scheduled to conclude on Sunday afternoon, March 3, 2024, the Cook-a-Thon has captured the attention of hundreds of supporters and well-wishers who have gathered at Tiger Bar, the venue of the event located opposite B Police Division.
Throughout the duration of the Cook-a-Thon, Chef Victor has not only impressed the audience with his culinary skills but has also extended his generosity by providing free food to the attendees. Moreover, in a commendable act of philanthropy, food prepared by Chef Victor is being dispatched to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps in Makurdi and surrounding areas, ensuring that those in need also have the opportunity to savor his delectable creations.
